The five-line summary

  • The service is free and offered as is, with no guarantee of always being up.
  • What you log is yours. We only host it so we can show it back to you.
  • You decide what you share; once shared with someone, that person can see it and remember it.
  • You can leave whenever you want and deletion is real: here's how.
  • None of this is medical advice or a substitute for a professional.

The summary doesn't replace the full text; it's here so you know what you're getting into before you read it.

1. Who provides the service

getdailyme (the "Service") is provided by QALI-T, a company incorporated in Honduras, with registered address at Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Contact: hola@getdailyme.com. Company website: qali-t.com.

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, the right answer is not to use it.

2. What getdailyme is

A progressive web app for logging daily activities and sharing them selectively with the people you connect with. It isn't an open social network: there's no discovery of strangers, no algorithmic feed and no public metrics.

3. Your account

  • You need to be at least 16 to have an account.
  • Your sign-up details have to be yours and working: the email address is how you recover access.
  • You're responsible for your credentials. If you suspect someone has gotten into your account, let us know.
  • One account belongs to one person. You can use whatever display name you like, but you can't impersonate anyone.

4. Acceptable use

By using the Service you agree not to:

  • Post content that is unlawful, violent, sexual involving minors, or that incites hatred.
  • Harass, threaten or persistently nudge other people.
  • Impersonate others or pass yourself off as getdailyme or whoever develops it.
  • Try to bypass access controls, access other people's data, or probe the infrastructure without permission.
  • Automate usage, scrape data, or generate disproportionate load on the Service.
  • Upload malicious code or use the Service to distribute it.

If you find a security flaw, we'd appreciate you writing to hola@getdailyme.com before making it public. We won't take action against anyone who investigates in good faith, without accessing other people's data and without degrading the service.

5. How to report illegal content

If you come across content you believe is illegal —an event photo, a comment, a username— write to hola@getdailyme.com with the subject "Content report". This is the channel required by Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act, and it works for anyone, with an account or without one.

So we can act quickly, include:

  • Where it is: the username, the event or the screen where you saw it, and a screenshot if you can.
  • Why you believe it's illegal, briefly but specifically.
  • Your name and email —except for offences involving minors, where you can report anonymously.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that what you're reporting is accurate.

We acknowledge receipt without delay, review it diligently and non-arbitrarily, and tell you the decision and the reason for it. If we take something down or suspend an account, we explain it to whoever posted it too, and that person can reply to the same address asking us to look again. Decisions are made by a person: there's no automated moderation here.

Reporting in bad faith, in bulk, or to harass someone is grounds for closing the account.

6. Your content

What you log, write and upload stays yours. We claim no ownership over it, we don't use it to train models, we don't hand it to third parties and we don't publish it anywhere.

You grant us only the technical licence strictly needed to provide the service: to store it, process it and show it to the people you've made it visible to. That licence ends when you delete the content or the account.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload: if you post a photo with other people in it, you're assuming you have their consent.

7. Friends, invitations and challenges

  • Sharing your invite link is giving your consent: whoever opens it is connected to you with no pending request. If the link gets away from you, you can rotate it and the old one stops working.
  • What you share stays shared. You can change an activity's visibility whenever you want, but we can't erase the memory of someone who already saw it, or a screenshot they took.
  • In challenges, participants see your total, never your entries. Signing an activity up to a challenge is consenting to that and only that.
  • You can remove a friendship or leave a challenge at any time.

8. Price

The Service is free. There are no ads, we don't sell data, and there's no paid tier unlocking what the free one hides. If a paid option ever appeared, it would be announced in advance and what you already use would keep working.

9. Availability and changes

The Service is offered "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will run uninterrupted or error-free: there's maintenance, there are providers in the middle, and things break.

We may modify, suspend or withdraw features. If we're going to withdraw something that substantially affects how you use the app, we'll give reasonable notice and, where possible, a way to take your data with you.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Nor for what other users do with what you choose to share with them.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, damage to life or physical integrity, or the rights consumer law grants you as a consumer.

Keep a copy of whatever matters to you. We do take backups, but we're not a document archive.

11. This is not medical advice

getdailyme is a personal logging tool. It doesn't diagnose, doesn't treat and doesn't replace a health professional's judgment. If you log things related to your health —sleep, medication, therapy, exercise— treat it as a notebook, not as clinical guidance.

12. Termination

You can delete your account whenever you want from Profile. Deletion is real and includes photos, and there's no grace period during which we keep your things around in case you come back. The full procedure is at how to delete your account and data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, especially the acceptable use section. Except in serious cases or where the law prevents it, we'll give notice first, state the reason, and give a chance to put it right and to reply.

13. Intellectual property

The Service's name, logo, design and code belong to QALI-T. Having an account doesn't grant the right to reuse them.

The icons come from Lucide and are used under its ISC license. The typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Honduras, where QALI-T is incorporated, and the courts of Honduras have jurisdiction over any dispute.

With one caveat that matters, and it isn't fine print: if you use the Service as a consumer, that clause takes away none of the rights the law of your country of residence grants you on a mandatory basis, and it doesn't force you to litigate far from home. You can go to the courts of your own domicile and turn to whichever consumer bodies apply to you.

On data protection, anyone living in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is covered by the GDPR, as the privacy policy explains, regardless of what this section says.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update them. We'll publish the new version on this page with its date, and if the change is substantial we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means accepting the new version; if you're not happy with it, you can delete your account.
